Teleprompt (“the app”) is designed to protect your privacy completely.
Nothing. The app does not collect, transmit, store on any server, or share any personal data.
Scripts you open or paste are processed entirely on your device. They are not uploaded anywhere. When you open a .md or .txt file, it is read locally so it can be displayed; the app does not copy it off your device.
The app uses your device’s microphone and Apple’s on-device speech recognition to follow your words as you read. This processing happens locally on your iPhone or iPad. Audio is not recorded, saved, or sent to us or to any third party. The app requests speech recognition to run on-device (requiresOnDeviceRecognition), so your voice does not leave the device.
The app contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking SDKs.
Because the app collects no data, there is nothing to share or sell.
The app is safe for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new “last updated” date.
